How do I register for a course?
Click one the Construction, Electrical, Engineering or Architecture Courses linkes at the top of the website.

What forms of payment do you accept? accepts MasterCard, Visa and Discover. You may also pay for your courses with a money order, certified check or business check payable to Adcox Group, Inc., 8746 McKenna Drive, Jacksonville, FL 32226. Once payment has cleared, you will be provided a User Name and Password, which allows you access to the courses you ordered.

Do you offer quantity discounts?
Yes, if you are purchasing 4 or more 14 hours packages for multiple individuals, please contact us at to discuss what we can do for you or your company.

How much time must I spend in a course each time I log in?
You do not have to spend a minimum amount of time per session. If you log out prior to spending your 50 minutes in a course, the next time you log in, you will be taken back to the place where you left off and the timer will continue from there. The exam questions will not be available to you until you have spent the required 50 minutes in the coursework.
Engineering and Area of Practice courses are exempt from this requirement and do not require a miminum time to be spent in the course.

How do you know if I've spent the required time in a course? electronically tracks how much time a student spends in a course and in which sections they spend that time. Students will also be able to check their time spent in a course while they are in that course. You will not be able to advance to the exam questions or given proof of completion until you spend the time required in a course. If you finish a course, and have not met the time requirement, you must keep reviewing the material until you have met the time requirement.

Additionally, there is a time-out feature installed in each course. If you are inactive on one page of the course for more than 15 minutes, you will be dropped out of the course. You will then have to log back in to continue.

How long do I have to complete a course?
All courses are set to expire within 90 days of enrollment. If you come to the end of the 90 days and need more time, please contact us at and request extra time.

How do I prove to the State of Florida Construction Industry Licensing Board that I have completed my continuing education requirements?
If you are licensed by the Florida Construction Industry Licensing Board, will automatically transmit a record of your completed education courses immediately following the submission of your final exam with a passing score. Once the Board receives your course completion record, an email will be sent to you as a notification. Additionally, after successfully completing each course, the student has the option to print out a Certificate of Completion for that particular course.

Do your course fees cover everything, or are there additional charges at the end?
There are no additional fees. The price for a course package covers everything - customer service, reporting of your hours to your licensing board, and the option for you to print out a Certificate of Completion once you have completed the course.

Can I telephone you to provide credit card information if I do not want to enter my credit card information over the internet? is a secure site, which means you do not need to worry about posting your credit card information, it is safe. We therefore have no need to accept credit card numbers over the telephone.

I am a Florida state-licensed certified/registered contractor. How many hours of continuing education am I required to complete?
All certified and registered contractors licensed by the Florida Construction Industry Licensing Board are required to complete 14-hours of continuing education during each renewal period (every 2 years). Of the required 14-hours, you must complete one hour of each of the following: Workplace Safety, Workers' Compensation, Business Practices, Advanced Building Code and Laws and Rules. Additionally, general, building, residential, roofing, specialty structure and glass and glazing contractors must complete one hour of Wind Mitigation Methodology as part of their required 14-hours.

How do I know if you have the courses I need to satisfy the requirements of my license?
Adcox Group offers board-approved courses for certified and registered contractors, licensed by the Florida Construction Industry Licensing Board.

Does Adcox Group offer continuing education for electrical contractors, architects, engineers, building inspectors or any other Florida licenses? offers courses for certified and registered contractors licensed by the Florida Construction Industry Licensing Board. We plan to expand our course offerings within Florida in the near future, so please check back with us if we don't currently offer courses that satisfy your licensing requirements.

Does Adcox Group offer approved continuing education courses for Miami-Dade County contractors? does not currently offer classes that are approved for contractors who receive their certification through Miami-Dade County and who do not have a state certification or registration. We plan to expand our course offerings in the near future, so please check back with us if we don't currently offer courses that satisfy your licensing requirements.

I enrolled and paid for a course, but changed my mind about taking the course. Can I get a refund?
Yes, you can get a full refund if you request it within the first 30 days of your enrollment, provided that we have not yet reported your hours to the licensing board. All requests for refund must be made in writing, and all approved requests will be processed and paid by whatever means you paid (i.e. if you paid by credit card, your refund will be made through that credit card) within 14 days.

What do you do with the personal information you collect?
Any personal information that receives from you will not be shared with or sold to any third parties, except for, if applicable, what is necessary to electronically report your continuing education hours to the appropriate agencies and what is necessary to register you, maintain your registration, and track your time and progress in each course. If this policy changes, you will be notified beforehand and will be given the opportunity to opt out.
